What qualifications do I need to apply for owner operator jobs at Hora Express?

What is the difference between a step deck and a flatbed trailer?

Do you offer lease purchase?
No, we do not.
In what areas do you operate?
We work in all 48 states. It’s up to the driver to choose the area, as there is no forced dispatch.
Do you have any local work?
Do you accept day cabs for local work?
It depends — the driver must already have a broker to provide local loads and a trailer.
Do you accept SAP drivers?
No.
Do you accept SAP drivers who have completed the SAP program?
No.
What trucks do you accept and from what year?
Generally, from the year 2000 and up.
Can I transport perishable goods with Hora Express?
Yes, we provide reefer trucking services using temperature-controlled trailers. These are perfect for perishable freight like food, produce, pharmaceuticals, and other temperature-sensitive cargo.

What is the weekly gross?
It depends on the trailer, as each trailer type earns differently.
Do I have to be on the road for a required amount of time?
No, you can go home or take vacation anytime you want.

Do I need to go to the main office for orientation?
No. Orientation is done over the phone and takes about an hour. We discuss safety policies and check trucks/trailers (if applicable).
How long is the onboarding process?

Do you offer truck insurance (bobtail/physical damage)?
No.
What load boards do you use?
DAT, Truckstop, Coyote, Schneider. We work with the spot market (check with Sandu for more details).
